Recently, our colleague Deborah Louise Sinclair's research on substitute addictions was featured in the prestigious 'Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Weekly.'

In her study with participants from Narcotics Anonymous (NA) in South Africa, participants emphasized the importance of more support to ensure that substitute behaviors do not become addictions.
